Has anyone replaced their standard filter with a K&N one? If so, what differences did you note? Is it a worthwhile mod?

Done it on my Disco TD5.. noticeably speedier on the pick up, more of a turbo whistle as well, and ever so slightly better fuel consumption..

I'm working on it.

Hi, maybe a bit late with this one, but I had a K&N air filter fitted on my vitara a couple of weeks ago, like orlando said above there is slightly better fuel consumption, and another thing I noticed it makes a damn good sound when using high revs!

As far as I can see from the 'net, nobody does a K&N for the Jimny, however, KAP Suzuki do offer a Pipercross one. Anyone know if this is as good??

your right k&n don't do a filter for the jimny
but as you say kap do something similar
is it any good--if kap sell it it must be worthwhile as they no jimny's inside-out and don't sell rubbish
so go for it

does anyone know if the air induction kit works on the carburetta model vitara as all the instructions I have ever seen have either pictures of an under bonnet fuel injected engine or make referance to the air box that I don't seem to have
