Bad day :(
« on: December 17, 2008, 15:39:23 »
Dropped of the Range Rover for a few problems, just got called to be told the gearbox has gone in to total failure on roadtest.

Bagheera is broken - and the Land Rover dealer was driving it :(

Wonder what will happen.....

Was this a test drive after they had done some work? Like change the transmission fluid for instance? Was he in for gearbox issues? Still covered by warranty? So many questions so few facts.

Gearbox is sealed for life. It was in for gearbox issues - park was intermittent and I was complaining about the upshift/downshift from/to 1st. It felt to me like it needed new ATF and a filter swap ....
