 due to catastrophic metal worm big blue maverick is dead pending suitable replacement with a green oval. so as a mark of respect to a brilliant machine i am suspending use of the name and instead will use my own.

to anawer both questions, yes.

the rust is extensive in the back body from the arches back, and the chassis from the back bumper th the rear spring seats is at best flakey at worst air. unfortunatly most of it is hidden by the bumper cover and fuel tank. pitty really as if it were not a tow car it might have lasted.

Always sad to see a vehicle go that you've enjoyed. However, if you think the Mav was rusty, just wait till you look a few Land Rovers for sale  :shock: :lol:
