Greetings from deepest Devon
« on: January 12, 2009, 21:34:20 »
Hi everyone,
I've been looking to join something like this ever since we bought our first 4x4, and what an excellent site it is - by far the friendliest and most concise for information - well done!
Well, we stepped in at the shallow end regarding full-on off-roaders - money would only allow us a 1.8 petrol Freelander - but we've had so much fun already, and without major incident (yet!), I'm hooked!
With all the fantastic countryside we have here in the Southwest, there hardly ever seem to be any people from this neck of the woods on any club website forums.  We would welcome "hello's" from all over, but getting to know some new friends, and particularly Freelander owners who go out and play down this way would be really great!
Well, all the best to everyone out there,
Regards, Karl, Clare & Evan (2 years old, thinks the Landy is his!)
