heavy steering

i've recently noticed my 300tdi is getting heavy on the steering i have checked steering arm steering box is a little damp but not leaking so has anyone got any suggestions what could be wrong  thanks scott

hi scott have you checked tyre pressures and the steering uj thing under the bonnet give it a good spray with wd40 do get stiff from timt to time  :D

also try bleeding you power steering my have air in it mine got low and heavy and topped it up bleed it and is fine now hope this might help mate also try tighten ing you belt up maybe slipping worth a try

hi scott have you tried starting the engine as it needs to be running to turn the pas belt to run the pump  :lol: :lol: sorry m8 had to get that in hope you fix it soon
