Hi How diffcult is it to fit a new radiator to a N-plate 96 4.0 limited, have new radiator but do I have to remove the air conditioning rad and drain that as well or can I just remove old rad and replace without touching air con?? help gratefully received. :afro:

Can just remove rad and leave aircon.

Unbolt it and pull the rubber bungs off the bottoms and pull it out.
If you always do what you have always done.
You will always get what you have always had.

Out of interest mudcop - can you give me an idea of what you paid for your new radiator please ? Mine's a 3.1TD in the garage at the moment having the rad removed to see if it's repairable - fingers crossed - but I'm being told £500+ for a new one if not

Cost of the radiator £63.99 plus £15.00 postage off ebay, try that and see what you get, if not will try to get details of the company I got one from.
