Blimey, I've not posted in ages! Hello peeps!
Well, T'old lass has finally gone under the knife. She's only been waiting for nearly three years! Anyway, part of the rebuild will include a full rewire, new switch gear etc. Looking around, in the comics etc no-one seems to do anything different with the dash area. I'm looking for ideas and inspiration at the mo'. Have any of you got a "different" dash? Want something nice to look at, not a sea of chequer plate. Not that there's owt wrong with chequer, I just prefere it outside the motor. Any pics, thoughts, whatever, gratefully digested.

saw an australian(i think) army defender in lrw last year, had a bare, flat metal bulkhead with just the guages and other stuff u need, no shelves or radio brackets, seems a good idea to me as you could start with it, then add the things you want- radio, cb extra sockets, what ever as, when and where u want them, without having to work round stuff. just an idea :-k
