Well i didnt, Kingwolf (Mark) did 90% of the work, i just got in the way!
Had nowt but bother all day! There was only 3 bolts holding the bumper on, but they gave a fight akin to 10 rusted on bolts! They were not happy! Took us 2 1/2 hours to remove the bumper!!!! Then taking the bolt out further back on the chassis rail for the steering guard to mount to, it snapped! Took us a further 90 mins to get that out, by a bit of joint ingenuity in that the nut end was the end that didnt snap, so we just kept tightening the nut up and it eventually pulled the bolt out! Which is good cos it werent moving under loads of fire and loads of hitting with big hammers!
In total to fit it all as well it took us approximately 6 hours, then we started on the lightbar!! But we are going to wire that in tomorrow before we go laning!
But here are some pics!
This is how it started! We thought it would be an easy 4 bolt job, only there was 3 bolts not 4 holding the bumper on, and they were going to be far from easy to remove!
See, he was the only gay in the village with his nice pink mug!
I took the iniative and started getting the brute force out on the bumper!
This was what was left of the bumper when i ripped it off!
OOOOOOOOO look at that harris! lol
Just add fire....................
We found the cardboard after he had started.............................
The bolt on the chassis rail which snapped and was welded to the inside, took some doing getting it off!
And what she looks like now!
And what she looked like before!
