Alternator
« on: February 13, 2009, 13:17:50 »
Hi

I have an early 200tdi in my 110 and the alternator is dying on it.  In my wisdom I got a new alternator - it has different connections on the back!
My old one has the 3 pin block connector and the new one has a load of studs and a loose female spade connector.
Think my old one was a A113 45 amp, the new one is a A127 65 amp, does anyone out there know what wires go where or do I have to send the new alternator back?

Many thanks to all who help!

Dave

There's realy only 3 things to connect, battery (big wore) alternator light and rev counter, the later runs from one phase of the 3 phase charging circuit.
