lineing a diff up

im replaceing my diff as it gone crunchsomeone said make sure its lined up what does it mean as they are cogs so should be straight forward me was thinking or am i wrong  :D

hardest part of changing a diff is the bloody weight of it!!!!!it'll only go in one way
if i can still see my bonnet then the water aint deep enough!!!!

back one is easy just out with thwe old and i with the new.
Front one is a bit more involved but nothing to worry about. The only thing that needs lining up is the drive shafts. If they are not in you will soon notice it
