Couple of questions
« on: February 23, 2009, 18:47:46 »
Hi all, my bruv's 90 dash lights have been changed to led's and the one nearest the door needs re-connecting, but the problem he is having is getting the speedo disconnected so as to get the binnacle on the bench.

Does the speedo cable unscrew or just pull off or is it like a boyonet fitting?

Secondly my rrc electric windows have started going really slowly, what's the remedy?  Muddy sliders, knackered motors, relays??

Cheers
Rgds  David

Not sure on the speedo cable it could be push and click fit or screw in.

Window motors are probably on the way out, best to replace them before they stop working, usually with the window in the down position and usually when it is raining.
