Foreign Fields
« on: February 28, 2009, 14:32:56 »
I know its still February but the sun is shining and my thoughts are turning to holidays. I'm thinking of places I can go to get my foreign offroading kick this year.

Last year spent 5 days in Wales (not technically foreign but I was advised to take a passport so they'd let me out!) and a week in southern France.

I'd love to do the Morrocco trip but not this year - need a little more time and money spending on the truck before tackling that. I'm considering a week in the Pyrenese. A good recommendation for Sweden too.

So has anyone got any ideas, suggestions, experiences (good or bad) that might give me some inspiration.

We are off to the Pyrenese in August. Ferry down to northern france, a week in the mountains then a weeks slow amble back through france taking in some of the sights.
