Axle change
« on: March 17, 2009, 09:00:48 »
I have just purchased a 1990 defender 90 which has a Range Rover rear axle to give rear disc brakes. I have a set of five spoke XS alloy wheels which i want to fit but on the front axle the hub cap pokes to far through the centre of the wheel preventing me fitting the centre cap. I have an early range rover spares vehicle so what i want to know is can i fit the front axle from this to solve the problem or can i just change over the swivel joints/hub to make life easier?
