turbo refund?
« on: March 17, 2009, 14:01:06 »
hello,
the turbo went on my 90 before christmas, no great issue i went to local landy shop brought a second hand one for £150 i was explained to they wernt sure of the condition of it and not being able to find another option i brought it, it worked great and the 90 felt abit more powerful on the hills,
now the turbo has gone again, and is pouring oil through the exaust at a not nice rate, solution is simple it needs replacing or reconditioning and im putting a bigger intercooler on it to keep the turbo abit happier.
my question is is it worth going back to the landy shop and asking for any sort of refund?

anyone know if anyone reconditions turbos? or have a really good turbo spare?

cheers kieran

If is was sold to you with no warranty... then it was at your own risk - unless they offered you a warranty period on it which is stated on any reciepts?

What engine is the turbo for??

I can get turbo's reconditioned - with a choice of standard specification or hybrid  ;)
