Hi All
One of the guys at work had a sunroof motor burn out today (smoke and all) what I need to know is ,,,,
are the motors in the 300 tdi sunroof the same as a td5 . ??

or if I were him I would forget the motor and buy a manual handle to fit instead. Take the blanking plate off and there is an allan key hole to wind it open/closed manauly. Guess how I had to find that out! Yes, in the rain on holiday with the sunroof open. Mates very kindly put a tarp over my roof held down by police no parking traffic cones we had for theenxt day. :lol:

He's selling the car so he wants everything to work . Mark across the road is breaking a 300 V8 so he'll have the motors spare . :D
