Alarm / Immobilser
« on: April 01, 2009, 21:04:51 »
Hi

I have a problem with starting my 97 XJ Jeep

The remote unlocks the doors fine, but quite often I go to start the car and it doesn't.  After much locking and unlocking on the remote I can get it going.

Any ideas whats wrong?

Thanks G

could be anything, but first check your battery is charged /new. could be the fuel pump or crank sensor is failing.
or batteries in remote needs changing and resetting or smoething amis in the alarm system.
