JVC Lcd TV HDMI connection
« on: April 12, 2009, 21:54:14 »
Anybody know how to get the HDMI connections to work on a JVC lcd tv ? Even resorted to reading the instruction manual without success  :'(
The tv has 2 hdmi sockets and I'd like to connect a PS3 and Virgin V+ via hdmi cable .
We had the PS3 connected to a Toshiba TV and the HD worked fine but not in the jvc ? Also tried to get the V+ box to work on HD without sucess
Been searching on google and found lots of people with the same problems but no solution

As to the PS3. Turn it off with no disc in. Then hold the power button for about 5 seconds. You must have the tv set to the correct HDMI for the ps3. It auto sets the resolution. The two TV's must have had a different max res.

I had to do it on mine yesterday. My tv is 1080P. Mums is only 1080I. Hers wouldnt come on, so i googled it.
