The best things about finishing work....
« on: April 14, 2009, 20:02:35 »
1) Having my first beer for 7 days, as I don't drink during the working week. That wonderful taste of Belgian Chimay, cold from the fridge,

2) Knowing that I'm not back to work for 3.5 days; if they want me to go they can bloomin' well fiddle, and thats swearing!

3) Getting my scruff kit on and not having to worry about being smart to 'keep up the company image'

4) Not having whinging oxygen thieves bleating on about 'dis geezer, rite, 'e is doin' my 'ead in coz he keeps texting me right, e is 'arrasin' me. Wot iz you pigs, goin' to do about it, innit?

Turning the alarm clock to no alarm on a Friday night when we go to bed is a nice fuzzy feeling

With that, I'll concur.
Mind you, last week I went for the sleep deprivation method. I stayed awake after a night shift, had my first beer by 9.30am, the second by 10.30 and the rest of the day was just a blur of pink fluffy clouds!

Good point. I tried listening to the soundtrack from the Battle of Britain. Didn't work. So I found some Orb on the You Tube thingy. Wow! Freaky!
