Like with James Bond - there is always "the one" - Roger Moore was the current one when I watched them, Tom Baker will always be Dr who in my mind!!!!!!

Looking forward to this treat. I was disapointed by the film episode back in 1996 set in the states. I thought this was rubbish and apparently so did everyone else. Attempts to modernize the format will be a risky business. I kinda stopped watching after Tom Baker only watching a few episodes.
When Peter Davidson took over I prefered to watch Buck Rogers at the time which was on the opposite side. I kept expecting him to stick his hand up some cows arse.
I think it would be a fun idea to have Jon Pertwee do another episode but as Dr Wurzel Gummage. Thinking about it there was one wurzel gummage episode which I thought would be scary for kids when the character wurzel made his own scarecrow. It was a scary figure.

Too right, Except for Pertwee no-one is eccentric enough to play the Doctor.  Anyway, since Randal And Hopkirk was remade, Tom Baker has been promoted to God.
