The 'Miltary Motors' series is being repeated in 'Men & Motors' (Virgin 280), I saw it yesterday & it covered the good old Willys JEEP & the Sherman

Ok, on sky there is a channel called horse&country. do not be fooled it is not like rambler s**t in anyway. they have the likes of fishing, shooting, a hell of alot of horse things and also a hell of alot of farm related things like machine demo's and the like. How about we get a film crew together and film a 4x4 show for the channel..... Pretty sure they would be up for it?

Sounds like a good idea, but we'd have to insist on full editorial control in order to get a reasonable portrayal.

I would not be surprised to see the mainstream production companies happy to work with us...so they can then portray us as a bunch of weirdos and nutcases Louis Theroux style, which wouldn't help!

Yes, I know we've all seen the Fast Show sketch and thought "I know those blokes..." , but if we're to stand any chance of winning the PR battle we need to get away from that.

Tank overhall is pretty interesting to watch too

hate how it is presented in though, would be interesting enough without that all too common USA style editing method. Anyone here in broadcast media, whats that style called so it can be named and shamed?  :P
