my boss has a 2.5 200 diesel that got swamped at tixover the other weekend...he got recovered and the engine was running ok then it stopped and has gone really tight...there is no sign of water gone in to the turbo and i took the glow plugs out to see if water had got in to the bores but there is no sign of that either..but even with the glow plugs out the starter will only turn the engine a fraction and it is virtually impossible to turn the engine even with a breaker bar.the cam belt is intact cos it tries to turn the rockers when the starter moves the engine a fraction......strange one to me ..has anyone any suggestions.....i am told the engine did not over heat or go bang .....
