TD5 disco stopped and wont start

Td5 disco broke down been recovered home wont restart, drained fuel filter turned on ign can`t hear pump so need to check that out first is there an easy way or do i have to drop the tank if so what do the four pipes do and which connections are live and neutral.Any ideas?

Should be able to access the pump through the boot floor - so no need to drop the tank. Just remove the trim from the door edge, lift the carpets to gain access to the fuel pump cover - Sorry can't help with wire's.

Removed red pipe from fuel filter turned on ign nothing.Removed pump through boot floor disconected four pipes and plug,with ign on there is 12v supply. Got fuel pump at home on bench conected to 12v. battery works for a bit then stops bash it on the bench and it starts for a few seconds then stops. I think that confirms it is shot. Thanks for advice.
