Anbody fitted a set of pro comps to a td5? most i have seen advertised are for upto 98my.done some digging and found out that rear shock lower mounts are slightly different on a td5,& the pro comp pin isnt long enough to get bushes on etc.so has anyone come across any difficulties fitting them to a td5.

Does yours have the cups on the axle round the bush and the procomp bushes are too big to fit into them?

If so then removing the cups is one solution, or use LR bushes.

I have tried LR bushes on a procomp before. The pin on LR dampers is sholdered unlike the procomp, so the bushes are a looser fit.

Here is a thread on another forum about dealing with the cups from the lower brackets.
