EPB 80W/90 SAME AS EP90?
« on: May 23, 2009, 13:36:47 »
Is EPB 80W/90 okay to use for axles / transfer box on defender?

Say's API GL5 on the spec so I am hoping it is.

I'm using EP 80/90 quite happily.

As oil heats up its vescovity lowers and it becomes runnier. The difference between 90 and 80/90 is that when cold the 80/90 isn't as thick so has less drag, but once warm its still just as thick as the 90.
