Off Roading in the Western Isles
« on: May 28, 2009, 16:20:53 »
I was thinking of heading the Western Isles this summer. I was wondering if anyone knew the rules regarding off-roading there and if there any tracks worth exploring.

Any information anyone could provide would be great.

There is absolutely no greenlaning in Scotland now! There used to be one lane in the Great Glen but not now.

Having said that, once you get off the beaten track it doesn't matter.

Do a search for Scenic Drives in Scotland and have fun. If you are near Fort William take a drive down to Kinloch Hourn, well worth it.
