hi mudbitz
average mpg is anything from 20-30 depending on mods, condition of engine
fitting bigger tyres and such will bring it down loads
my last lifted vit went down to 15mpg with 33" tyres :?

Can I ask what sort of speeds peoples vitara's do, I have 215 15" tyres but can't do much more than 60mph, it's a 1992 SWB 1.6 8valve with an SU carb conversion. I expected better speeds and more pull on the road. What do you think? Thanks

It was fitted when I brought the vehicle, How do I get colour tune done? Also I forgot to say it's running a home made snorkle but has NO air filter at the moment, I know I need to get one fitted.

hi brett
colour tuned is the old style of setting su's up a simple tuning company might still be able to sort have a ring about localy.
also when was the engine last serviced as a good set of plugs and such do make a difference to the output power
