just being nosey on the Jeep club website and saw who i believe to be you in a puddle........

you kept that quiet then  :wink:

how long did it take to dry out ???

maybe not but it tells you one thing

unlike the landy the jeep keeps water in, so must mean keeps water out underneath

landies on the other hand were built with sieves!

I think the high inner sills on the Jeep are keeping the water in.... :(

Landrover lets water in and out,
So no bailing bucket is required..... :lol:

Hi all,

I just got a little stuck at Broxhead for about an hour in sand and a small puddle , :oops: , a mate with waders could just keep the water from filling his boots.

Dave,  it didn't take long to dry out , took the Cherry to bits pulled the carpet and wadding out put it all back together minus carpet and wadding job done 8) .

Thanks for the pm as I hadn't seen the post.

P.S does anyone know how to get your CDs out of an autochanger after it drowns and stops working with 10 CDs still in it  :cry:

The carpet hasn't been back in since it happened and I was at Tixover yesterday with no misshaps this time although the wife was with me yesterday but she wasn't at Broxhead  :twisted:

I'm thinking of going Derbyshire lanning with mud club on the 28th, I don't think I'll be going to tixover between now and the 18th Jan, but you never know  :wink: keep me posted
