Injector Pump
« on: June 19, 2009, 22:27:10 »
Well I think mine packed in tonight :(

Truck just cut out turns over fine just won't fire up.  Tried bumping it off but as soon as you dip the clutch it cuts out.

Got it home and no fuel at injectors, got fuel to filter and fuel to injector pump but nothing after?

Unless there is a known fault that can be fixed i'm guessing new pump?

Would a 300tdi pump fit my 200 tdi?  I only ask as a friend has a 300tdi for spares so it would be cheap?

Any help greatly received!

Mike

No timing belt is fine, truck still turned over fine

All sorted now the stop solenoid wire had come off put it back on and away she went.

Easy fix but being new to deisel engines I didn't know to look!

Thanks anyways

Didn't know there was a wire there or I would have checked first.

The spade connector and about 8" of wire had been pulled off so here was no loose wire to see.

Thanks for the helpful advice though lol

Hi
There are no connections on the pump.
Glad you fixed it, sometimes a simple thing can throw you off.
