Discovery lights upgrade.

Maybe a couple of modified airbag systems that spray indelible pink dye over anyone attempting to steal the headlights?  :lol:

The weird part is that if early TD5s are being upgraded then what are they doing with their old headlights? They seem to be £35 each on ebay, while I'd quite like a set for my 300 TDI (I understand they're a straight swap?) I'm not paying £70 when there's nothing wrong with my current ones!

I also would like some TD5 ones for my disco, however, i would like the facelift ones that d2 are upgrading to.  Ive been told this isnt possible, yet i have also been told that the upgrade lights are a straight swap for the standard d2 lights, and the normal d2 lights are a straight swap for the 300tdi lights, so therefore the d2 upgrade lights should fit the 300tdi???

The 300Tdi lights (but not indicators) are interchangeable with the first D2s. The 300 and D2 is different around the indicator.

When the D2 lights/indicators became one unit, early D2 and later D2 were interchangeable (same around the indicator) but not with the oldr 300.
