What's it called?

What do you call a group of pheasants?
Is it a flock?

Heard a load of noise outside just now, looked out the patio doors and found a garden full, and I mean full, of pheasants. The thing's that go on out in the country!!
Just had the mother in law on the phone, told her about the pheasants. "are they wild?" she asks.
Don't think so mum, not a guitar between them!
Don't know how I do it!
I'll fetch me coat.
Cheers, Karl..

nide of pheasants (on the ground)
nye of pheasants (on the ground)

The keepers are moving the young from the breeding areas out to the edges of woodlands etc to settle them in ready for the shooting season. At this stage they are clueless and will move and chase after anything that might give them food.
