help me decide?

just been offered a rrc for silly money needs a new batt + bit of tlc :shock:  :shock:  :shock:
do i take it
of corse i do  :D  :wink:
so do i change it from the v8 3.5 thats fitted or do i change it for a diesel and if so what one cost of running is my concern as will be going about 20 miles a day in her

If you mean 'Silly Money' as in 'dead cheap', surely the expense of petrol would be in significant compared to fitting a decent diesel?

I know my disco is dual fuel but when i run petrol only (dont ask, does'nt always work on gas) i avarage about 19-21 mpg on a 3.5 efi.
 Depends how you drive i suppose.  8)

Surely an LPG kit is less then a half decent diesel???  I got my DIY carb kit for £550 and it was a doddle to fit!!
