Hi Guys
I've just bought a 1990 110 County Station Wagon that has had the rear windows removed.
I want to put them back in.
Where is the best place to get some from and how much should I be looking to pay.
If anyone wants to have a look, I've got some photos here

Thanks

I would not have thought you would have found many Land rovers at a car breakers.

There are some specific 4x4 and Land Rover breakers - couple of good 'uns in Rossendale and Bury areas that I found by - I kid you not - putting 'car breakers - land rover' into the search engine on yell.co.uk
I found a pair of side panels with windows attached by posting in the wanted section on the forum (thanks Die Bok). Mind you, new ones aren't too bad. A local independent land rover garage (Crook Bros, near Houghton Tower) said they'd fit lockable ones for me, including cutting the holes, for £175 + VAT, so don't pay too much for the windows themselves.

I need the windows for the visibility.
However, I am getting used to it without.
As for the colour, I like the blue + black, but will carry it on to the rear side panels (I also plan to paint the wheels the proper Land Rover cream - or replace with Freestyle Alloys).
By the way: I have taken off the bull bar (I intend to replace it with an A bar with a pair of driving lights), stripped it back to the original black plastic coating and may be flogging it in the near future. If you know anyone who wants one, let me know.

Something in my head is saying that the rear panels with sliding windows for a 110 are the same size as those off a swb series - but my head is all over the place sometimes!
In my opinion (although not experience) that set up on a 110 would be my perfect choice, five seats up front with the back racked out for tools/off road gear/camping bits n bobs etc :D

when I was looking for panels/windows for the 90, I was told 110's wouldn't fit. Which is odd, as I thought the extra bit was the second door.

People Hi,
The rear panels from the D110 range of vehicles is exactly the same size as the panels from the 88".
So you can use the 88" on a D110 and vice versa.
D110 or 88" rear panels are sorter than the ones used on D90 vehicles though.
Only problem is that the 88" used a totally different type of sliding window.
Take care

Hi Guys
I got my windows yesterday (Wednesday). :D
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4539582377
I paid £55 for the pair in the end.
both windows good (no scratches, they slide and lock).
They also came with the rear quarter windows (which i didn't expect).
Anyway, I'm going to take out the windows and the frames and rear windows will be looking for a new home.
If anyone's interested, let me know.
