Looking in me haynes book of lies, and it doesnt tell me where the earth point is for the circuit that has the guages and indicators on them.
Its on a 1988 2.5td 110!
Any help appreciated! lol

Its booked in for MOT on Monday and am trying to get it sorted, but it wont be going in unless i can find this wire and relocate the earth to somewhere that it earths!

If you cant find it, and you feel as tho the earth lead has failed; install a new one to the gauges from the battery, as a temp.
If they still dont work then your problem is elsewhere.

This is part of the problem, i dont know where the earth is on the guages either lol

If its a pcb board the likely hood is that there will be a negative sign imprinted on it; the other option would be run it to the dash board lights and it should be obvious which part of the lamp is negative so attach temp lead to the dash lights.

ok, will look at that tomorrow.
the ignition lights work, just not the actual readouts of the guages, dont even know if the guage lights work!!
will have a wee look when i get home!

Not yet, has been put on the back burner til September now as i managed to break the fuel tank when refitting, so going to wait and see what happens now after me 11 day holiday!
