Vehicle change
« on: August 16, 2009, 11:55:00 »
Hello

At the moment we have a 90, we are looking to replace it with a diesel lwb shogun on a 2001 or 2002 plate.

What are the  the common faults to look out for?

The Di-D engine, what is it like for reliability?

Is auto better than manual?

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do,
and the eyesight to tell the difference.

i think the 3.2 did engines have a problem with chain guides. i think its something to do with them being made from plastic and they snap and it causes loads of damage. think someone said it cost them over 3 grand to fix. cant remember where ive read it but ill have a hunt round for you ;)
Im not HERE coz im not all THERE!
