Interesting. I sent him a subliminal message to drops his trolleys and make an arse of himself. He hasn't done either yet.

I've worked on a few stage shows including magic acts, as a result I tend to watch stuff like this and look for the strings as it were.

Bit boring in this case. No interesting boxes or trick bottles. Neither has anyone attempted to fold a banana in half.

Yep, nothing here and I spotted that too. Mind you, I don't think I'm really his target audience. Tell me I'm going to do something and there is a more than even chance that I'll do something else entirely...

Didn't watch it, find the bloke an arse, but from the post above, he was displaying subliminal messages in the program??

That's been illegal since the 1960's hasn't it since an advertising company got caught doing it or something?  Either way it's a big NONO in broadcasting.

As I understand it, you can display them if you clearly state that you are going to do so (which would defeat the point for advertising). In this case, there was a clear text warning at the start, he explained in detail the history, and advised viewers who wanted nothing to do with the experiment when they should look away.

I agree he's a bit of a prat, but he did play by the rules from an ethical viewpoint.
