Is there anything i can paint my axels with which will survive off roading and not chip off?

shot-blast and powder coat then clean them after every excursion

lol, getting my axels powder coated would cost more that the cars worth.  :lol:

righto, when i had the rover axles i used a spray from focus called "plasticoat" sprayed and looked like hammerite but diddnt chop off that on redoxide worked well.

I just undersealed mine black, and against the red suspension and diff guards it looks good.
