Hi Have 16valve 1.6 auto, car developed a fault, at 1500-2000rpm have juddering and slight misfire, at all other times runs fine, the car uses 1/2 litre oil now and again, but does not leak, no white smoke or black smoke out of exhaust, but sometimes idle is erratic. Take out all the plug leads on at a time and the engine continues to run except on first lead and engine dies, not a mechanic and have no idea, doesnt do this at garage they say??? Any thoughts greatfully received
