Diff lock

Just got a 300tdi disco and the hi lo lever will go from hi to lo but will not move left to get diff lock

Any ideas please

Its possibly seized through non-use Jim, a liberal dousing in WD40 on the linkages and a bit of gentle working of the lever will probably get it all usable again.

probably seized where the steel shaft of the selector goes through the ally bush
you will need to take the centre console out drill out the rivets around the difflock lever and take the lever assembly off the top of the box to free it off
if its siezed like mine was i had to take it all apart and punch the shaft out  then clean the shaft up and put back together with plenty of grease
mine was stuck where the shaft  11 goes through bush 16
