Fuel filter warning light

The fuel filter warning light is on and the garage say they see it all the time, the best thing to do is isolate not replace the sensor. Is that right?

Throw it away,pointless waste of money replacin!

Mine had to be replaced under warranty - 7 years ago - and never had a problem since........ A
3 Defenders on and I'd still buy another.....
