The props aint a problem, your steering bar from the relay to the swivel will need a real big kink in it so that it doent hit the n/s leaf spring!

I would have thought that putting a kink into the steering bar would not be a good idea?!
What model of Landy have you got?
Just thinking about the chassis cross-members and wether they'll get in the way?
You'd also need veeeeeeeery extended brake hoses.
Just wondering wether it would be worth possibly using longer bolts and adding another steering arm onto the top of the Railko bush section (with the arm coming slightly upwards so as to miss the spring) and running the steering rod to that?
That way the steering rod doesn't need any 'bending' and the track rod can stay at the bottom.

Sorry, I should have asked. Is the vehicle going to be road-legal?

This is a common modification to older jeeps in the states. It takes allot of work to be done correctly and safely. The best way is to rotate the front swivel housings so you can raise the pinion to match a custom drive shaft along with a high steer setup to keep the steering shafts above the springs.

Won't you also have to weld on spring seats
above
the axle so that the spring sits nicely on it?
It would appear that there would be rather a lot of work involved.
I was also toying with the idea once of converting a Landy to having four wheel steering.

The front springs are too short so you'll need to fit longer ones as well.

fine of its going to be offroad but very risky if on the road it will be top heavey if nothing else and if u have a acident you will get that and any other mod used against you. as in a recent case. for saftys sake make it offroad only there are safer ways to make a leafer look good and taller
