Anyone live near or go to Barnsley?

Bit of a long-shot, but does anyone live near, or go to Barnsley that could collect a roof rack? It's a full length Discovery one and weighs around 30Kg.

Not quite sure how it could be done, or how it could meet up with me (somewhere in the middle) but if you don't ask...

I live about 10miles north of Barnsley 'as the crow flies', but try not to travel south of Rotherham/Sheffield.

'Range Rover Blues' lives in (or around) Sheffield.

You need something like the  Pony Express

Yes ... but I'd have to sign up and make 10 posts before being alowed to post in that section.

Then I'd still have to hope that I could get something sorted!

Umm, more thinking required.... :-k

According to the AA route planner, Barnsley is a mere 3 hours away! Up the and back in a day... (off to calulate how much fuel that is)

I'm about in the middle and don't mind looking after
it for a wile should you be able to get it part way.

Could possibly meet up with someone for you too.

Wife goes down to Leicester a lot as she's involved in designing the new Hospital that's being built for the Trust (can't remember the full details)
Or is it the one at Market Harborough??

But you can't really get a Discovery roof-rack in a Mondeo

3hours
Blimey how fast do you drive???
Billing takes me about 2 & a half without the caravan (that's only as far as Northampton - jct 15, M1)

Okay I'll admit I stick to about 60mph on the motorway.
