Hello All :D

I have recently cleaned my engine and under the mud the engine appears to be painted gold on the bottom of the block :shock:  does this signify that it’s a reconditioned one or did the green oval paint them this colour mine is a 93 200 Tdi also talking to simdeb his is the same and that’s a 200 but a bit younger.

It used to be a gold seal recon in BL's earlier days I believe (for mini's anyway), which I think means a factory recondition or "re-work" not sure if it still applies.
