Membership numbers

Just been looking at the memberlist and Neil is #1, but check out his profile and his membership number is 2, and so on down the list  :?

Also does anyone know member number 6 on the list, joined same day as me but has yet not posted  :shock:

The numbers on the memberlist don't correspond to anything much except the list.  If you change the sort order of the list, the numbers will be next to different people.

I was just curious thats all, and I get the idea behind the number 1 issue
