"Puma" engined Defender
« on: January 01, 2010, 14:00:55 »
For those of you who've bought one of these;
check with dealer, as my sump has been replaced, on recall, and I had a letter of recall which had something to do with the brake system

Ive got a puma, its had the recall on the handbrake, its a fault with the seal in the back of the transfer box and it lets the fluid into the handbrake drum, as regards the sump they will only change it if it shows signs of impact damage from the front prop. (ive also had that replaced)

Theres a hand full of other faults to, but i havent the time to sit writing about it. vacuum pump, clutch springs, etc
