Over the last few weeks we have had a lot of trouble with Sky HD reception. It will be fine for several hours, then if there is maybe a little bit of wind or snow, every few minutes the screen goes blue and we get a message saying the signal has gone. The picture comes back on after a few seconds. We have contacted Sky several times, their helpdesk engineers have talked us through how to reset the box, and a guy has come out and replaced the receiver in the dish. Resetting the box has meant that we have lost everything we recorded over Christmas, including Dr Who, which I was particularly miffed off about. Programmes are almost unwatchable as the signal comes and goes, and we cannot rely on it to record anything - too many programmes are 'part rec' or 'failed'.
We had no trouble with the set-top box until we moved at the end of November.
Has anyone else had problems with Sky HD reception during the snowy conditions or is it just us?
