Hi there this may sound really stupid but ive got quite a bit of vibration on my defender 90

Its a f reg and it started to do it a month ago, between 45 - 55 mph i get a vibration through the dash and steering wheel, tried to have the wheels balanced but they wont balance but im not convinced that the wheels are the only problem. Been and bought new wheels today so ill try them and get them balanced but has anyone come across this before. Could it be transfer box?

Have you checked the propshafts?

Hold at each end and see if there is any movement.
