hi everyone my 300tdi discovery's central locking is messing around when i use the remote all doors lock except drivers??? and if i lock it with the key it all works but key rather hard to turn....any ideas?

i seem to have in my mind that a diagnostic computer is needed to programm the key fobs for a 300tdi. i may be wrong there tho...
id get it on a diagnostic and see what fault codes come up, if any, to start with...

Thats a strange reply,
His remote is working its only his driver side door thats not working onj the remote.
I suspect that the look is either full of crap from offroading or simply needs a bit lubrication :oops: give it a squirt with a bit WD40 first and see if that helps. I seem to remember reading somewhere on here that the springs on the door locks have a habit of breaking or going weak so i would be looking at them if the WD40 has no effect. i beleive the spring kits to fix are cheap as chips BUT the jobs a bit fiddly to change. Im sure someone with more knowledge that I will be along soon to help.
