hi guys i have just been layed off so as you have to ask here goes does any one know of any garden work in norfolk as i live on norfolk suffolk boarder as thats what i do ??? thanks

Sorry to here that, get your self a big sign and stand next to a busy road, its worked before.
Friends wife asked every Friday on local ind est , got a job within a few weeks
Remember it will come in handy even if you never use it

Know how you feel mate i was made redundant at the end of november..Really struggling to find workhere though..

 :( Same here, I got made redundant in July, I've only done a few agency bits since.  Very hard to get back in too.  Got class two, reach truck and years of metal cutting experience, still, nothing!!  Good luck there!! [-o< [-o<

I was made redundant in Oct 09.. :'(

I had 7 1/2 weeks notice and 7 1/2 weeks severance pay..

but I got them to agree in writing that they would pay me for any time I had left out of the notice period if I found a job to go to.

they gave me the letter and I told them I had found a new job the day before... :dance:

15 weeks dosh.. :lol:

new job is a quality controller in a furniture factory 5 mile closer to home and the same money I was on before . RESULT  ;)

RESULT indeed, shame it don't always go that way.

i was given 2 weeks notice and had two more with no work, in feb 09 by march couldn't find no work so went self employed and have had work since luckily even if my wages have been halved :doh:
