Help needed with a choice
« on: February 16, 2010, 21:20:40 »
Okay i am looking for some thoughts suggestions or otherwise comments

I have the 300tdi Disco and the 2.5NA OneTen

The Disco is about out of MOT but I dont think it would take much for him to pass (he says!!!)
The OneTen also doesn't need much to get it on the road however I would like a 200tdi in him.

Now the question is do i sell the Disco as it stands and use the funds from the sale to get the necessary bits to put a 200 in the one ten?
Do I use the 300 tdi in the One Ten and sell the rest of the motor in parts and to the scrap man?
Do i just get the one ten up and running as is

I'm confused DOT com

need a bit of guidance on this one lads and lasses

Shame to break a good motor just for the engine.

I'd buy an engine from an already broken LR.

MOT it...... if it is shot down in flames, break it... if it needs a little loving, fix it and flog it  ;)  put proceeds towards 110
