Turbo ... Will it fit ?
« on: February 21, 2010, 16:59:22 »
Guys, just after some advice please.

Mate has a 97 Discovery 300Tdi with a knackered Turbo and has been offered a Turbo from a 94(ish) 300 Tdi.

Are they the same or is there some reason it won't fit before he splashes out on it and also anyone know as a rough guide what he should be paying for it ?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Anyone else know what you should pay for a second hand Turbo ?

bought blind without warranty, service history or mileage history.... next to nothing - 50 quid for the risk?
I got a turbo from a 120k miles 96 300tdi in the shed - well serviced commercial vehicle and I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole - good for recon only - so good knows what a 94 one could be like.
